Dalmare Shopping Centre

Dalmare Shopping Centre in Šibenik was constructed as a complex building consisting of five interconnected expansion joints.

Construction of the first section began in 2003 and was completed in 2004. The remaining four sections were built between 2008 and 2009.

The center's structure was executed as a combination of reinforced concrete and steel elements. The reinforced concrete structure was used for the basement and ground-floor levels, while the steel structure was applied to the upper levels of the building.

The building’s distinctive features include triangular façade panels, non-standard structural spans and reinforced concrete elements of larger dimensions and weight.

The project provided Šibenik with a modern shopping center that integrates retail, service and supporting facilities, contributing to the development of the city’s commercial infrastructure.
