Višnjik Sports Hall

Višnjik Sports Hall in Zadar was constructed as a city sports hall and opened shortly before the World Men’s Handball Championship in January 2009.

The building has a regular circular floor plan, with a large usable area designed for sports, cultural and other public events. The project included the central hall and four multipurpose auxiliary halls with their own supporting facilities.

The seating area in the central hall provides more than 6,500 fixed seats, while four additional telescopic stands are located next to the playing court, increasing the total capacity to 8,500 seats.

The project provided Zadar with a modern multipurpose sports venue, important for the development of sports, the organisation of major events and the strengthening of the city’s public infrastructure.
