Retail Building within Marina Dalmacija

A retail building with a gross floor area of 1,050 m² was constructed within Marina Dalmacija in Sukošan. It is a single-storey building approximately 6 metres high, 50 metres long and around 21 metres wide, built entirely from precast reinforced concrete elements, including the foundation structure.

A particular feature of the project is the foundation conditions in the immediate vicinity of the sea. During high tide, the bottom of the foundation footings is approximately 10 to 20 cm below sea level, while during low tide the footing base remains dry.

The load-bearing structure consists of precast reinforced concrete foundation footings and beams, precast columns, and main roof girders with a span of approximately 20 metres, together with the corresponding secondary beams. The façades are made of precast reinforced concrete panels, while the roof is covered with metal sandwich panels.

The building is used as a general merchandise retail store and is fully leased by the Investor to Tommy d.d.
