Sardina Fish Processing Factory

The new “Sardina” fish processing factory in Postira is one of the most modern fish processing facilities in Europe, with a production capacity of approximately 40 million fish cans per year.

The facility is located on a developed building plot with a total area of 22,500 m² and is functionally divided into three parts. The lower ground floor includes production areas, cold storage rooms, a fish receiving area and storage facilities. The upper ground floor includes a laboratory, machine room, boiler room, service garages and an area for storing fishing nets and equipment.

The administrative area and accommodation facilities are located on the first floor.

The project provided modern conditions for processing, storage and the organisation of production processes, further strengthening the food-processing industry on Brač and in Croatia.
