Production facility for Aluflexpack Factory

The reconstruction and extension of the existing production facility were carried out to accommodate the new ROTOCOAT RC-17 machine, intended for coating, printing and lamination of aluminium foil.

The project also included the construction of supporting service areas, including a mixing room and storage for paints and varnishes, a roller washing room, grinding room, pressing area and additional storage space. A transformer station, thermal oil boiler room and the foundation for the exhaust air treatment plant were also constructed next to the production hall.

Precast reinforced concrete elements with span girders of various lengths were used for the primary building, while the transformer station was executed as a monolithic reinforced concrete structure.

The column foundations next to the existing hall were executed using so-called “pendulum” bearings on isolated footings. Two intermediate floor structures were executed as a combination of precast reinforced concrete elements and steel structure, while the façade was fully completed using reinforced concrete façade panels.

The project enabled the modernization of the production process and the installation of new technological equipment for aluminium foil processing, functionally integrating production, service and energy-related facilities.
